This article describes how to set up your Swissmail Mail on Thunderbird

Step-by-step guide

1. Start Thunderbird
   
   
   
   
2.  Click on "email" to set up a new account
   
   
    
3. You can set up your account automatically or manually.
   Either way you have to enter your name, email address and your Password.
   Confirm the following Dialog with "continue" to complete the automated set up
   
   
   
4.  To set up your account manually click on "Configure manually"
   
   
5.  To set up your account as "IMAP" use the following setup and confirm with "Done"
   
   
6.  To set up your account as "POP3" use the following setup and confirm with "Done"
