This article describes how to set up your Swissmail Mail account on Outlook for Mac.

Step-by-step guide

  1. Select "Accounts" in the "Tools" menu:



  2. Click on the "+" icon in the lower left corner and select "New Account...":



  3. Enter your email address in the "Email" field:



  4. If Outlook asks you for the desired provider select "IMAP/POP":



  5. Next, you will be asked to enter the "Incoming Server" for incoming and "Outgoing Server" for outgoing mail. Use "secure.swissmail.org" in both cases. Also make sure that your complete e-mail address is entered in both fields "Email Address" and "Username". Additionally make sure that the two options "Use SSL to connect" are selected. Your password must also be entered in the "Password" field:



  6. After clicking on "Add Account" the process is completed. Confirm the following dialog with "Done":
