Swissmail Domain Account Management
Login
Use the login button on swissmail.org home page to login into the swissmail domain account to manage your email server.
The credentials (customer number and password) will be provided after the sign up process.
If you don't have received your credentials contact our support.
Activate 2-factor authentication to significantly improve the security level.
Overview
After the login the customer menu is shown:
Menu
My Services: All your subscribed services are listed here.
My Invoices: Make payments or see your invoices.
Address: Manage your address data here (The email address in field E-Mail will receive the invoices).
Language: Select the language for our standard email communication.
MyServices
Select MyServices and then select Swissmail Domain Server to get the menu to manage your domain server.
(1) Current settings gives you an overview about the configuration of your email server.
(2) Customize service allows to specifiy a usage policy for your user.
(3) Service components list of all components which are available.
(4) To upgrade your service click on the provided link.
E-Mail Account Management
To set up a new account or to change existing accounts select the menu option "Mail accounts".
(1) All existing accounts are listed in the table.
(2) Number of accounts used and total available.
(3) Click on the plus/+ sign to create a new E-Mail account.
(4) To edit or delete an account select one of the options from the Actions dropdown menu.
Forward Accounts
A forward account is an email address which forwards incoming emails to another email address.
(1) All existing accounts are listed in the table.
(2) Number of accounts used and total available.
(3) Click on the plus/+ sign to create a new forward account.
(4) To edit or delete an account select the appropriate action.
To foward emails to several addresses use a distribution list as recipient.
Domains
All domain names assigned to this mail server are listed in the Mail Domains list.
Email accounts of your server can use these domain names within their email address.
New mail domain names can be added (plus / + signs).
ATTENTION: To use the domain names, correct MX entries must be set in the DNS server. Please contact our support if you have any questions.
(1) All existing domain names are listed in the table.
(2) Number of domain names used and total available.
(3) Click on the plus/+ sign to add a new domain name (Be aware that you do not register a domain name here. The function is to add an existing (registered) domain name to your server).
(4) To edit or delete a domain name select the appropriate action.
Settings for your domain name (edit/create)
If the option "Activate default email address" is selected, all received emails for an invalid email address in the domain will be forwarded to this default email address.
If this option is not activated, the emails will be rejected on receipt by the email server.
Standard email name: enter the name of a valid email address. For example support for support@yourDomain.com.
MX-Records for the DNS
The MX-Records have to point to elba.iway.ch and malta.iway.ch (with the same priority).
Monitoring
If you signed up for this module, you can manage monitoring for your email server here.
(1) Activate the monitoring and determine where the monitored emails are sent to.
(2) Monitoring email address: Email address to which the emails are forwarded. An external email address can also be used.
(3) Monitor all accounts or
(4) Accounts: Choose which accounts to monitor.
Archive
If you signed up for this module, you can manage archiving for your email server here.
(1) Activate the archive.
(2) Archive email address: Email address to which the emails are forwarded (fix address from system).
(3) Archive all accounts or
(4) Accounts: Choose which accounts to monitor.
(5) Change or set the password for your archive.
Access your archive
To access your archive, login to swissmail.org using the archive email address and the password.
Your emails will be stored in the archive mailbox.
Credits
Credits - Overview of credits for SMS and fax.
The page shows the current balance and your payments for SMS and fax credits. To increase the credit balance, click on the plus (+) sign.
(1) All credit orders are listed in the table.
(2) Available saldo for credits.
(3) Click on the plus/+ sign to order new credits (it will show the upgrade page).
Upgrade
The upgrade page shows all available upgrade options for your service.
(1) Click on the "add to chart" button to order a new option.
After selecting an option your cart will be displayed:
(1) A list of all selected options
(2) Total amount to be paid.
(3) Payment options (varies depending on the country)
(4) Final order button and start of the payment process.
