Using Secure Email Access, the communication is completely encrypted including passwords as well as the "from" and the "to" headers. Your local IP address will not be included in the email header. |

| How can I be sure I have an encrypted connection? | Using an email client you must use secure.swissmail.org as your email server. Secure.swissmail.org allows encrypted connections only. If the encryption fails the connection will be interrupted. |

How can I deactivate this feature? | To clear the password with Internet Explorer please proceed as follows: Open the menu "Tools",select "Internet Options", click on the tab "Content" and click the "AutoComplete" button. Then click "Clear Passwords" button. For other browsers please check the help function of the browser. |
