This article describes how to set up your Swissmail Mail account on iPhones and Android phones.

Step-by-step guide

1. Open up Gmail and klick 'Sign in' to start the set-up process.

2.Next, to select the Account Type klick on "Other (IMAP)".

3. In the next screen enter your swissmail e-mail address. Then push click 'Next' to go on.

4. Next, fill in the "Password" according to your account details.

Then fill in "secure.swissmail.org" in the field "SMTP IMAP Server" and choose choose  "STARTTLS" as the Security Type. The Port Number "587143" is set automatically when you select the Security type.

Then push Click 'Next' to go on.

5. In the next screen please enter Fill in "secure.swissmail.org" in the field "IMAP SMTP Server" and choose again "STARTTLS" as the Security Type. The Port Number "143587" is set automatically when you select the Security type.

Then push Click 'Next' to go on.

6. On the last screen the field "Your Name" contains the display name when sending e-mails. We recommend that you enter your full name here.
