This article describes how to set up your Swissmail Mail on Thunderbird

Step-by-step guide

1. Start Thunderbird
   
   
   
   
2.  Click on "email" to set up a new account
   
   
    
3. We recommend to set up your account automatically
   Enter your name, email address and your password.
   Confirm the following Dialog with "continue"
   
   
   
4. Select the protocol (IMAP or POP3) and finish the configuration with "Done"
   
   
5. If the automated setup doesn't work you can set up your account manually
   To set up your account manually click on "Configure manually"
   
   
6.  To set up your account as "IMAP" use the following setup and confirm with "Done"
   
   
7.  To set up your account as "POP3" use the following setup and confirm with "Done"
